I would like to welcome you to my website and thank you for taking the time to drop by.
My name is Brian Jowers from the UK and I am starting out as a Digital Marketer. I am partnered with some great guys at Internet Profits Limited.
My aim is to show you how I progress so that I can also help you along the digital marketing road, that you may also have a safe journey.
My Background
I started work as an Electronics Technician, completing my apprenticeship in the early ’70s in London. The Research Department then moved to Martlesham Heath, Ipswich.
I then taught myself programming through doing it at work. Remember the Commodore PET, Lynx and ZX81? These are what I cut my teeth on. A change of job made me a systems programmer and I passed an Open University BSc degree in mathematics and computing.
At the end of the ’90s I was made redundant and eventually got work as a freelance Software Engineer, specialising in software and system testing.
I realised after several years that working for oneself is good as long as you have work. I tried setting up a few sideline interests but there has always been a problem:
Freelancing is not always as good as you think it will be once the only work available is 150 or even 200 miles away. These distances are never going to be commutable and often involve getting up at silly o’clock to be at work when they want. You can’t always get a Friday off either.
I came to the realisation that the solution to the problem above is the Internet. This is the way to attract potential customers. So I tried various free training downloads and even paid a few hundred for ‘detailed’ courses but there is always something lacking, such as proper support when you get stuck or even the ‘how to’ detail.
I eventually came across something called the BCB (Blue Commission Blueprint) during 2016, on a webinar I think it was. This sounded like what I was looking for. I tried it out and yes, there it was – the support, coaching and training I was looking for.
I went to the Internet Profits Consultants workshop in January 2017 and met many of the team.
Kaboom, here we go!
I can honestly say that in 2017 ‘I am just getting started’
